The saddest things and events that occurred in 2023  One of the saddest things and events that took place in 2023, which brought the prestige of Russia and Putin to the bottom, was the takeover by the Wagner organization, led by Prigogine, seizing several cities in Russia and declaring war on the military leadership.  But to be realistic, despite exaggerating and bragging about Russian weapons and military power for years, Russia did not achieve what it aspired to in the war with Ukraine, despite more than a year having passed since the beginning of the war because of NATO’s support with money and weapons.
